Best way to access blocked site is to
SETUP A PROXY SERVER TO YOUR HOME PC.
1. Download Privoxy Click Here.
2.Install Privoxy in your home PC.
3. After Install connect internet to your home PC then go to http://www.ip-adress.com/ and note your IP address this is your proxy server IP by default your proxy server Port number will be 8118.
8. Put your proxy server IP and Port number to your office or school computers browser and access blocked sites.
How to Setup Proxy and Port Number?
1. For Internet Explorer.
Select Internet Explorer / Tools / Internet options /Connections / LAN Settings / Use a proxy server. In the Address field enter the Proxy Host IP address and in the port field enter port number. Check Bypass server for local (Intranet) addresses.
2. For Firefox.
1. Download Firefox if you haven't.
2. Open Firefox go to Tools>Options
3. A pop up will open Click on Advance tab then click on Network tab Click on Settings.
4. A pop up will open check on Manual Proxy Configuration.
5. Type in the proxy and port.
6. Check the box Use this proxy for all protocols.(if dose not work leave it blank)
7. Click on the OK button until you are back to the main Firefox window.
3. For the computer with modem.
select Internet Explorer / Tools/ Internet Options / Connections / Dial-up Settings / Click on
the Set up button and enter proxy server IP and port as in the above item and uncheck Automatically detect settings.
